The path to becoming an AAPA anesthesiologist begins with the completion of four years of medical school, followed by a one-year internship in surgery or medicine, and concludes after a rigourous three-year anesthesia residency program. Many of our physicians have also completed fellowships in pediatric, cardiac, pain, or critical care anesthesia and have specialized training in trans-esophageal echocardiography and regional anesthesia techniques. All AAPA anesthesiologists must be board certified in anesthesiology by the the American Board of Anesthesiology.
Our physicians bring a broad scope of experience and expertise to AAPA's collaborative approach to delivering superior patient-centered care. They are well respected in the medical community and are consistently listed among the 'Top Doctors' of the Twin Cities area.
